Understanding the reasons:
Are you signing on your own behalf, power of attorney, business, or company?

For which State will it be used? Answer: Mailroom address state.
Answer with YES/NO:
Are you participating in today’s Notary of your own will?
Do you understand the content of the doc you’re about to sign?
Do you agree to use an electronic signature to sign this doc?
Do you agree and understand by signing this document you are legally binding yourself to the terms of the document?
Validating your identity:
The notary will confirm some dates on the documents provided.
They will ask you to place your electronic signature using the toolbar.
If everything is ok, the Notary will sign and seal the document. You can check your signature on the USPS form.
They will finally ask you if this is for a new company: the answer is yes, it is for a new company.
The steps for notarization within the appointment are:
Vetting: The Notary Public reviews the document to be notarized;
Certifying: The Notary Public confirms that the person signing the document is the same as the one on the document. The Notary Public additionally confirms that the signer understands the document and is signing of their own free will;
Record-Keeping: All transactions witnessed by a Notary Public are entered into an official log, containing the names and information of the people who signed the notarized document.
